Fits perfect, well made, and better than plastic. I’ve had it in for 3 months now and no issues at all. No leaks, runs at the correct temperature in all temperatures and has not over heated at all. Well worth the money. Get rid of that plastic crap and upgrade to a metal housing.

I read reviews for other selected sites for this part and customers were not happy because it was plastic. This has a metal housing, if that is wht your looking for. I thought it would be plastic but it is surely metal. Great fit!

Was expecting a plastic housing but ended up getting an aluminum. Was already skeptical bc the last one I ordered leaked from the smaller valve that threads on to the main piece, but no issues or leaks seen after install. There are some noticeable differences in quality of the thermostat components where the originals are more solid have more mass etc. Also had a metal ball lodged where the oring sits not sure where that came from but fortunately it came off.can't really complain for it being about 1/3 the cost of an oem one.

Fits like a glove on my 2016 silverado 5.3l, and 1/3 the price of what auto zone charges for a plastic replacement.

Fixed my 2014 gm 1500. The housing is metal, which I like!

Works very well just like OE, which is also made in China, most likely in the same factory but at quadruple the price. This thermostat comparing to my original factory OE, is identical. Same spring tension, same plastic housing, inlet and overflow orifice is identical in diameter. 100% correct fit. Zero leaks, correct temperature, perfect fit. The only way these will leak, is because of improper installation, if the original seal is not removed from aluminum housing on the engine block, as the replacement seal is mounted in thermostat housing. Torque down bolts to only 7 ft lbs, and I would recommend a bit of blue thread lock.

Not as described! pictures showed metal housing, but came with plastic like the lower priced units. Not worth the extra money!
