Swapped this out while I was changing the water pump on my 3500. Temperature stabilizes exactly where the OEM thermostat did. Funny thing was that the water pump I got from Amazon was only about 10 bucks more than the thermostat. Time will tell for both but if you only need to swap out a thermostat on a 5.9 Cummins, it is super easy. Plenty of help on youtube.

Stopped working after a month. It was stuck shut in making my truck overheat since I just replaced it. I didn’t think that was the problem but I got one from O’Reillys. I never returned so I installed that one and it worked perfectly. Do not buy this crap.

200km into my trip after installing this thermostat as preventative maintenance, I stop for lunch and what happens when I hit the road again? It gets stuck in the closed position and I overheat. WTF? Thanks for leaving me stranded on the side of the highway. I wish I never replaced it in the first place or used another brand. Never again.
