This clutch never unlocked and freewheeled ever. It was always locked up, making noise and dragging the motor down. I thought it would loosen up, but it never did in 1500 miles of driving. It cost me over one mile pre gallon for 500 miles. I have since thrown this POS china wannabe in the land fill and purchased a genuine GM clutch fan, It has worked perfect!

I ordered this part and found it to be a direct fit and easy to install. However, it stays engaged too much and hurts my gas mileage. It only free wheels when it’s very cool outside and the ac is not on. Truck does not run though.

Vary pleased with my fan clutch it came in a average box but it don't matter because it doing a goodjob on my truck keeping it cool thank you !!!

Truck sounded like a jet engine every time I accelerated. This fan clutch is no good.

It performs well, but the nut is much smaller than the OEM part. It wasn’t an issue for the installation, but when the time comes to remove it, I won’t be able to grab it with a regular wrench. I can’t imagine what I will do at that point. My only hope is that the fan will outlast my vehicle which is 22 years old now and will have to retire at some point.
