Everything came assembled, gap was close. Fitment was ok, the cam drive is a tad shorter than the more expensive models. Make sure to seat all the way and no issues. Very affordable for what you get.

Worked at first then the wire from the points shorted out. There was no break in the shelding but the wire was bad had to replace the points and it's back on the road. There parts only lasted about a week.

I bought this just to keep my beetle moving around while I do a Restoration on it. I will be installing the pat downs shockwave once I rebuild the engine but for running the engine this distributor worked right out of the box and I will keep it as a good spare afterwards.
