The AquaDoc ph decreaser works great at lowering my pools ph level during the winter. I live in the Pacific Northwest and during the winter the pool heater increases the pools ph level. The AquaDoc ph decreaser has allowed me to maintain the pool ph levels. It is easy to apply and instructions are easy to follow.

This is a great option for smaller hot tubs rather than larger pools since it's less concentrated and easier to measure. It works effectively and quickly—after using the recommended dosage, I retested the water 30 minutes later and saw a noticeable drop in pH. Since it’s a liquid, it mixes in immediately with no dissolving required. The price is a bit higher than I’d prefer, but since I don’t often need to lower pH, this should last a long time. Overall, it does the job well and is a convenient solution for maintaining balanced water chemistry.

It was time to shock the pool with chlorine and it's best to balance it first. I was off in the direction that this product addresses. It solved the problem. I would totally buy this if it was among the lower prices for this product.

Overall very good quality, well packaged, and exactly as it describes. The only caveat I've found is it can be hard to find actual calcuators for Sodium Bisulfate in liquid form to calculate precise measurements, so it's best to do as the instructions say and add a small 1oz at a time. But it's also not a overly high concentration which also makes it easier to use for a spa, which I appreciate, as I also have a pool and use muriatic acid for it, but it's such a high concentration it's very hard to not overdo it in the hot tub (which I learned the hard way when adding a small capful lowed the pH below 6).

I recently acquired an inflatable hot tub, and needed a way to better manage my pH. I already had a pH increaser, but realized I needed pH decreaser as well.Usually, the human body will make your hot tub pH go down, generally requiring pH increaser.I used the recommended amount (4 tablespoons for my 250 gallon hot tub) and it dropped the pH a bit too much. Added some pH increaser and it brought it right up to where it needed to be.One thing that I was not ready for was that it was a liquid. All of the other chemicals I use are powders or granuals.

Picture with testing strips has the after on the left and before on the right. Ph level came down after only about 2 minutes of dissolving and 1oz of chemical. It’s nice that the bottle has measurements on it-makes it very easy to use the correct amount. Good value for the money.

I already have a lot of products of this brand and never got disappointed. I am taking off one star because this product is missing an easy translation chart stating how many oz are needed to balance certain Ph ranges depending on the gallon size of your spa. They just say „keep on adding and measuring until its balanced.“ i don‘t have time for that! I wanna know how much to put it at once and call it a day afterwards

This is a must have for anyone that owns a hot tub/spa. It's easy to use, directions are clear and easy to understand and it works like it says it does.
