Yup. We use this to steam Tamales. The stand off keep them above the water. You can add water through the side port. The three chamber separator makes stacking them easier, The lid closes tight. The handles are solid and riveted to the Stainless Steel body. Best Tamale pot I've ever owned and I'm 80 years old.

This pot is perfect in every way for making tamales. It comes with a basket that sits above the water line for proper steaming. It also has a three-way divider for separating different steamed items or for steaming a large number of the same items. With the side fill, you don't have to take the lid off to add water. It is a little bigger than I thought it would be but the larger size worked out great for me. I definitely would recommend this item for anyone that has a large quantity of items to steam (ie Crab legs, Tamales, Veggies, Corn on the cob, etc.).

Compre la de 52QT. Es muy muy grande esta hermosa Creo que me la quedare. Pero si quieren comprarla una familia de 6 es perfecta una medida menos porq es bastante henorme. Pero en calidad asta el momento me gusto

Exactly what I was looking for!! Adding water to the spout instead of lifting the lid(letting all the steam out in the process)is a game changer. Heavy duty, beautifully built. Highly recommend this product.

I am in love with this tamale pot. It is the perfect size to either use in the stove or outside on a gas burner. The quality and craftsmanship is amazing and it is perfectly balanced. My favorite feature is the outside spout because I am worried about my water evaporating and burning my pots like I have done before. I will probably order another one so I can make more tamales in less time.

Lo unico malo es la DISTRIBUCION DEL PRODUCTO. Ya que dos veces intentaron entregarla,sin exito a la misma direccion en la me entregaron la primera olla, a pesar de que se les proporciono dos numeros de guia respectivos. Esta olla es para una de mis hermanas que me pidió le consiguiera una igual.Espero que la empresa que contraten para entregarla a domicilio su personal TENGAN UN POCO DE CRITERIO y lo utilicen para eficientar la ENTREGA.
