Why choose ARTR wrap?
When it comes to titanium exhaust wrap, people may think the material is titanium. Actually, titanium is the color. There is no wrap made from titanium in the market. ARTR titanium wrap is made from volcanic rock fiber. Some sellers may list titanium-colored fiberglass exhaust wrap as titanium wrap.
- ARTR wrap can withstand 1800°F Direct/2500°F Intermittent Heat while fiberglass wrap can only withstand 1400F direct/2000F intermittent heat.
- The color of fiberglass wrap will turn to white in high temperature while the color of ARTR wrap will keep the same. This is the way to distinguish volcanic rock fiber wrap and fiberglass exhaust wrap.
Please notice:
- Before installing, please soak the wrap in water so that the fiber will not fly all around.
- Please wear long sleeves, gloves and mask when handling. Fiber will make you itchy and uncomfortable.
- Wrap will smoke and you will smell it burning off for the first hour or 2, after that the smell will gone. It isn't burning. The smoke comes from wax (there is wax in the wrap while producing). The wrap will not catch fire. Please don't worry.

Stainless steel zip ties included in this package are universal fit for different projects. However, they are not as good as horse clamps. You may use horse clamps instead. We are sorry that horse clamps cannot be included since they come with various sizes. You have to buy the right size for your project separately.

Worked good. Be sure to soak in water before you install it. allows you to wrap it tighter and helps with itching and breathing in filaments.

Bought for a drift trike and used it for my gokart also and still have enough left for probably 2 more small exhaust easy. Maybe more but doubt it. I soaked mine in water before applying then ran the engine after to help dry out. Metal zip ties are pretty easy make sure you got them positioned correctly and in the direction you wrapped so when you tighten them they don't loosen your wrap. Aesthetically you may want the tie forward or just the band think about that before you commit. Once you got that snug them up snip them short enough to grab with some fine needle nose pliers and then twist the band around the needle nose and down toward the other band. If you don't snip it short before you twist to tighten the extra will awkward bend and get in the way amd not look good. After that you can tap and flatten out the little curl you made if you want. Wear gloves. Mask especially if you're not soaking in water. when cutting you may want to wrap in tape then cut thru the middle of the tape to prevent fraying as much as possible. May be hard with the wet wrap I personally just tried to keep it straight and slow and i didn't have many frays the ones I did get I didn't touch or mess with until I was done wrapping then I went back and trimmed them off quickly and precisely not tugging on any of them.

Ok, so it's not really titanium wrap like DEI sells. It's fully fiberglass and sheds like crazy during installation. So be sure to wet it, wear nitrile gloves, a mask, and clothes you don't mind throwing away. The fibers get everywhere. That said, it shrinks tight as it dries and does a great job of holding heat in the pipe. It holds up well to the elements and mud, but like all fiberglass wrap it doesn't like abrasion. First pic was wet, 2nd is dried and cured. It will smoke like crazy and stink for the first ride until it's cured. Do not breathe the smoke.

I bought several rolls of this because I wanted to make an authentic mummy costume for my grandson for his 8th birthday (he loves mummys). I figured the insulating wrap would also keep him cooler in the August heat during his b-day party in the park. We soaked the rolls as instructed, and did him up. Well I want to tell you it worked great! He looked pretty spooky and the kids loved it. The only downside was that Chester got a pretty bad rash and was itchy for about a week and we couldn't tell because he was wrapped up. Pretty sure it was from the birthday cake because we think he was born gluten free but we haven't had him tested yet. The metal clamps were also helpful but maybe a little too tight, he had a little numbness for a couple of days in his fingers but it went away luckily so maybe don;t use those for your own mummy costume. Please make sure you wear gloves and at least a long sleeve shirt. I learned the hard way from the fiber glass :P

Wrap worked fine and kept engine temps cool, cheaper than design engineering wrap which I also used. Haven’t tested these side by side but it’s a great substitute.

Nothing wrong with this product was easy to install deffo buy from them again sprayed with a hight temp spray after to seal it up comon sense goes a long way and some of these reviews are just from thick idiots u must were gloves when using fibre glass products anyway some that have had issues deffo are ur own fault 😀 highly recommended this product
