I used this product to wrap a mini bike exhaust. It is not fun to use but works well. It will make you itchy if it touches your skin. I used stainless clockwise to secure mine and skipped the metal zip ties. It will stink initially when it gets hot but goes away in time.

Installed on a golf cart exhaust under the seat. kept heat away from vital parts that can be damaged. Make sure to seal with proper paint. Will turn white after use if not painted.great value, nice thick product don’t over wrap or exhaust will get to hot. Functional and durable quality product.

I recently purchased the Titanium Exhaust Heat Tape Wrap (2â€x16 Ft) for my motorcycle, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with the results. The tape itself is high quality and definitely helps with heat reduction. It noticeably reduced the exhaust heat radiating from my pipes, which has made my rides more comfortable. The black color also gives it a sleek look, adding to my bike's aesthetics. The included stainless ties were a nice bonus, though they can be a bit tricky to secure tightly. I recommend having some patience or maybe a second pair of hands when installing. Also, the 16 ft length was enough for my project, but if you're working with larger exhaust pipes or need more coverage, you might want to consider getting a longer roll. One minor drawback was the smell during the first few rides after installation. It seems to burn off after a while, but it was noticeable initially. Overall, this heat wrap does the job, looks great, and performs as expected. Worth the investment if you're looking to reduce heat on your motorcycle!

So I drive a 2006 Sentra and had my exhaust replaced from the flex pipe to muffler about 5 yrs ago. Recently I found the connection between muffler and exhaust was so rusted that the pipe separated from the joint.Im afraid to try and replace it because it’s so rusted might cause more damage. So I tried a few wrap options. They work for a few months and then rip.I just applied this puppy a few days ago and it was so much easier to work with than I anticipated. Wrapped real nicely, was able to tighten with ease and the fasteners work well too. While it’s too soon to tell if this will last for a long period, I will say my confidence is high as it seems very sturdy. Fingers crossed!

I used this to insulate my diesel heater exhaust I'm running through a larger pipe through a hole in my garage. Even though many don't opt to wrap exhaust pipes that go through air gaps, mine is very DIY (See photo) and I chose to be extra cautious. It works at keeping heat in the pipe, and I do feel better about having it. However below I'll explain in detail why I wouldn't use it again and don't recommend. The wrap itself- It's made of fiberglass. I'm by no means an authority on fiberglass, but after working with just this product I'm definitely not gonna be using it again. There's debate on how dangerous or harmful it is, but many unsealed fiberglass products such as this one release very tiny sharp shards of the fiberglass that get all over your clothes, can get stuck in your hands and skin, and you definitely don't want in your eyes. After wrapping my exhaust I realized the extent of the mess, it was all over my jacket, pants, tools and floor. Super tiny but shiny strands. I wore gloves just in case, so none got on my hands right away from direct handling, but the itch and the mess were a nightmare when it did. Even after washing my hands I was itching, feeling it up my sleeves and on the knees of my jeans. After a long shower, I learned vinegar, apparently apple cider vinegar from anecdotes (Even though regular white is more acidic) can dissolve fiberglass strands. It helped a ton. Less than a minute of rubbing on my hands and the itch was gone. I ended up washing my clothes no less than 6 times, first 4 with half a gallon of (white) vinegar per run. I soaked my jacket and jeans in a tub of vinegar for a day before washing, and I was able to get all of it out (look and feel, zero itches since). I put my tools in my cheap ultrasonic with hot water, vinegar, and laundry detergent. I spent 3 days cleaning up the mess the fiberglass shedding caused me.I'm not blaming this particular product for this despite the negative review. From my understanding, the shedding is in the nature of exposed fiberglass products like pink insulation. There's people who work with fiberglass all day and manage, given precautions. I failed to take precautions outside of disposable gloves, but this was my experience and that's reflected in the review. Please, do your own research. I'm not saying this stuff is dangerous, but you don't want it in your eyes and if I wasn't careful it could've gotten there.

I used this to put on the 6" flash can of my rifle as not to burn myself. It works. Use gloves for sure, it is messy. It comes with if I remember two steel clamps.

Horrible stuff to work with the fiberglass fibers that shed while you are applying the wrap get into your skin and probably in your lungs if you dont wear a particle mask and total coveralls that you dont mind throwing away after you finish . Frankly my roll was deposited into the garbage after a short time working with it think twice before using this stuff .
