The fact that the collar has nine distinct shock levels and seven different sensitivities that can be adjusted is, in my opinion, an excellent feature that allows you to tailor the experience to coincide with the temperament of your dog. For the purpose of ensuring that Max would not experience an excessive amount of discomfort, I began using this device at the lowest shock level possible and progressively increased it as he became used to it. To begin with, I believe it is essential to take things slowly, particularly if you have a dog that is more sensitive or worried. The fact that there are five various operating modes, including vibration and beep modes, which provide alternatives to the shock setting, is one of the things that I enjoy the most about this product. Through my experience, I have discovered that the vibration mode is often sufficient to attract Max's attention without the need to resort to the shock mode. In my opinion, the collar is constructed in a way that is both good and comfortable for Max to wear. Although the strap may be adjusted to guarantee a secure fit, he does not seem to be troubled by the fact that he is wearing it for lengthy periods of time. Having to change batteries on a regular basis would have been a pain, but with this collar, I only need to recharge it around once a week. The rechargeable battery is another factor that contributes to the collar's advantages. It seems that the battery life is fairly satisfactory, and the collar charges quite rapidly, which is a very useful capability. Additionally, I like the LED indication that notifies me when it is time to charge it, ensuring that I am never taken aback by the situation.
