Screen Rolling Tool-Stainless Steel
Installing a screen with this screen roller tool makes the job much easier. This essential tool is comfortable in the hand and the wheels turn smoothly to roll the screen and spline into the frame.
The concave roller at one end can press the spline into the window groove, and the convex roller at the other end can fix the spline again.
The wood handle is hard and crack-free, the wheels have been thickened and enlarged to become more resistant and suitable for most door and window grooves.

If you’re reading this thinking you can change screen mesh without this tool, don’t even try. Great value for the money and made installing new mesh very easy. Perfect thickness and very sturdy wooden handle.

I managed to change out the screens for 3 panels on my porch. These tools made installation easier. I saw the value for money when compared to big box prices. The plastic roller was wonderful because when my hands slipped, the roller didn’t cut the mesh it slipped on to. The hook made pulling out the old spline a quick process. Overall, a great size, pretty wood look.

Went to hd and lowes for this tool and all they had was tiny or plastic which did not work for installing screens. This had the tool i needed with a sturdy wooden handle and two different sized rollers at the ends. Made the work done in half the time without killing my hand or ripping the screen. Easy to use. Also came w a small tool to get the twine into the corners. Great value.

If your dog eats windows and you are even remotely handy, you can do this.Get the screen, get this kit, fix your window before the landlord finds out what your stowaway did.Pay attention to the tubing sizes, some windows have bigger and smaller channels, especially if it is a screen door, and the tubing has to be fat enough to want to stay wedged in the crack, but you can do it.I believe in you.

tried to replace a screen on my porch end closure. wheels were wobbly and woud not press in the spline. finished the job a small ball pein hammer and a wide chisel.

Good selection of tools to put screen on an old patio screen door. I did not do this job but someone else did. It was the first time he put a screen on and did a great job.The tools were used to put the pet screen on (this thickdr screen was supposed to come with the tool but it did not so this extra purchase i bought just for the clips turned out to be a good decision). He found the clips useful to hold the screen in place while the door was laying across a corner in the deck railing even though the clips were a bit loose and fell off. The hook allowed him to remove the old spline in about 1 second. The job went well and the screen is tight and wrinkleless and he left a bit of extra screening so as not to tear the screen.The tools may be useful in the future in case the squirrels decide to eat my screen again. However, in the meantime, I think I can use the pick in the kitchen to undo tight knots in plastic bags made by strong men who pick my groceties for online grocery shopping so I can wash and reuse them instead of cutting the knot off. And I think these wheels may be useful to make lines with fabric marking sheets on fabric - my old fabric marking wheel is at least 50 years and a little wobbly. These screen wheels do not have prongs like the fabric ones do but I think it would work.I also bought the screen mouse in case it was easier and would prefer it. He tried it but struggled with it and decided to use the wheel in this set of tools instead.

I love that this kit includes both metal and nylon tools. They're both good quality and made the job of replacing the screen in my door so much easier. They did exactly what they were supposed to do.

Worth the money if you are doing some storm doors or windows. There is a bit of a knack to using them though which should be caught on fairly quickly by the user. The rollers must be pressed firmly and straight.
