This is the second BBR rim I got, and while it's mostly good, BOTH OF THEM pierce my inner tubes multiple times. Happened twice on my back tire, and within SECONDS of installing this new front one. It always happens in the same spot too, right next to the valve.The rim did not come with inner liner, which I knew was a must to get. In addition, there are holes along the inner edge that run throughout the rim and for whatever reason they have an edge to them.But despite covering these holes with electric tape and installing an inner liner, my tube started leaking air IMMEDIATELY after inflating, again, right next to the valve due to the hole not being a clean route.I will NOT recommend this brand to anyone. Only reason I'm not returning this is because of the hassle and because it's the cheapest rim with 12g spokes (now we know why). I placed rubber strips near the valve hole for my back rim and that seemed to have fix that issue, so gotta do the same with this one after I order even MORE tubes. I understand why BikeBerry has such a horrible reputation.

The BBR wheel seems heavy duty but the quality is mediocre. Quality could be better for the price. Only recommend it for someone who can true the wheel as some spokes are very loose.The weld on the rim is dirty and has a slight bend in the area.The inside of the wheel has holes, Maybe they are from the construction process or used as relief holes for trapped water? I have never seen holes inside wheels before. (I put a bit of silicone on the holes and weld to help protect the inner tube)The spoke nipples are large so a thick/heavy duty rim strip should be used.Overall it will be better than my old wheel after tightening the spokes and getting it alignined.I rate it an 8 out of 10.

I received the wheel today and checked it out: All the spokes were tight and the wheel is straight. I opened the bearings and they were greased, but over-tightened. After stuffing more grease in and adjusting thetightness, it spun smoothly. I would recommend this product and suggest carefully inspecting before use. I like the heavy duty spokes.

I had no idea what to spend on a rim, so I got these and the reviews seemed to be solid good reviews. When I told my friend who rides race bikes the price, he said I got what I spent. Low $50 is a really cheap rim. The rim was terribly out of true and I have battled with getting the rim straight for 2 months. The rims are really robust and withstand a lot of abuse, but like I said they are tough to true them straight. I keep the brakes loose so they don't rub all the time and it seems to work.
