It's not difficult to install if you do from bottom. The only that take me time it's the clips. Resolved the leaking from s broken water pump.

This fits and works perfect, but the first replacement I purchased only lasted for about 17 months before it started leaking in the same place as the original did. It's still well worth the money and the 5 minutes it takes to replace, even if I do have to replace it again in another 17-18 months! I just bought the same one again and will update this review if it fails again.

I bought this pump to replace the original pump on our Whirlpool washer. It was leaking and I thought it might be the pump, but wasn't 100% sure. So this $15 aftermarket pump was a good way to test my theory without spending $50 on an OEM pump.It was remarkably simple to install, but it did require pulling the washer away from the wall, tilting it back, putting some paint cans underneath to hold it at that angle, and then using a mirror to undo the hose clamps and metal brackets holding on the pump. Nothing was screwed on, nothing was rusted together, everything came apart just the way it was supposed to. Much easier than working on my car!Our washer isn't leaking anymore, but I have no idea how long it will last. The original pump lasted about 17 years. This is completely unbranded, so there's no way to tell 5 years from now who makes it. Either way, this fixed our problem for $15 instead of $200 to have a pro come out and look, or $600 on a new washer.

Cheap replacement and easy to install. My teenage son and I were able to install while my husband was at work. It took 5 minutes and the most difficult part was putting the clamps on. It’s been a few months and so far (knock on wood) there haven’t been any leaks or flooding.
