Not only is it incredibly easy to use and at a nice price point - it makes excellent coffee! This is a convenient and fun way to get a different taste/texture to your brew. And if you are a curious, coffee crazy connoisseur like myself - it's a "must-have" device for experimentation.I have had good results with any roast level, freshly ground beans and was pleasantly surprised how much more flavorful some light roasts can become. The "trick" with this method is to just know timing/water level and amount of grounds, but that is all adjustable to your own preferences. As with most coffee brewing methods - the only way this isn't foolproof is if you neglect to keep an eye on it or remove from heat soon enough.I also find it is pleasant and easy enough to use on work mornings as well as weekends. From personal preference, the 6 Cup model is also most ideal if you are concerned about size. It can either make one large serving or you can split it out into 2 depending on milk level preference, drink recipe, etc. I can easily get my desired amount in just one brewing or save some for later to make an iced coffee with.Pros:Ample handle is nicely spaced from pitcher to minimize burn riskHeavy weighted base - sturdy feeling design for long term useEasy screw on/offEasy cleaning/maintenanceSimple & stylishOnly "Cons":Moisture can make filter basket slightly tricky to remove - but not aggravatingly soDepending on how quick your stove heats this can be a 10-15 min process and may not be ideal for some foggy people in a rush. :)For the price and results you can't go wrong if you love coffee as much as I do!

Add water to designated fill spot, add coffee to basket thing, screw on tight, heat till you hear the water moving, lower heat to prevent pressure leak of small amount of coffee. Wait a few minutes. And perfect every time. For good coffee at home. Might not be the best ever… but quick, good, easy. Ps. I use a burr grinder on fine with espresso roast Italian coffee beans that I purchase on Amazon.

This is not going to make you an espresso, the design does not create high enough pressure to do this. It will however make you a very strong cup of Joe. I do use this to make Mochas at home and it works fairly well, but to the experienced coffee drinker, you will know it is not quiet the same as star bucks. Highly recommend using a foaming wand for your milk if you intend to use this pot to make your mochas at home.Simplicity; I prefer using this over my counter top coffee maker. It is just so easy to use and clean. I end up using far less ground coffee with this set up, which in the end will save you money. This easily makes 2 full cups of extremely strong Joe, or would equal at least 4 home made mochas. This takes less then 10 minutes to brew on the stove top at a little of medium heat on the burner. Make sure to not have the handle directly over the flame or burner as it tends to get to hot to hold. I make sure to place the pot as closely to the edge of the burn to prevent the heat from rising to the handle.

We started using a Moka pot when traveling around Eastern Europe for the Airbnbs without a good coffeemaker. A Moka pot is perfect: It is very inexpensive, easy and fairly quick to use, and makes a pretty perfect cup of coffee. We have an espresso maker at home but regretted leaving our beloved, $6 Moka pot behind in Hungary so I bought a Bellemain here and it works beautifully on our gas stove. Two warnings: DO NOT put this in the dishwasher. The warning is right there on the instructions which I didn't read because I already knew how to work a Moka pot. So I ruined the look of my pot right after it arrived. (A dishwasher dulls and marks up the sheen and you have to rewash everything else in your dishwasher because it gets aluminum grit all over the place.) The other "warning" is that a 6-cup Moka pot is really like 6 espresso shots (tiny Italian cups) or 1 or 2 regular American cups of coffee. Moka pots make strong espresso, which for me, makes 2 cups w/ cream. It's fun to use, feels very European, and makes a delicious cup of Italian-style coffee if you use high-quality, fine grounds.

Bought one of these for myself and then again as a gift for a friend. Great moka style pot. The casting has some minor pitting, but not anywhere that could affect coffee quality. I not only use this most mornings, but have accidentally abused it more than once and it still works like a charm. One caveat: the funnel is welded from two pieces rather than a single construction, which means it WILL break if you smack it against your palm often enough (see above re: abuse). Fortunately, replacements are plentiful and inexpensive, and I have no one to blame but myself. Highly recommended.

I tried several coffee makers.. this one goes on top of the list. As good as those $30+ for almost half the price. Well built and good finishing. I'll update durability in few weeks. So far I'm satisfied.
