The hooks are high quality and well designed. Simply required drilling 3/8†holes thru a 2x6 treated beam. The bolts are plenty long enough to fit a 2x6.

Easy to install, so long as you can figure out how to get your hole lined up (if, like me, you don't have a drill bit longer than 6" and you have to go in from top and bottom - out of 4, I got 3 lined up perfectly. The fourth one took some *cough* adjustments). Operator error, definitely not the fault of the swing hanger. These operate just as expected and are so much better than what came with my kid's cheap metal swingset. When I built him a new one, I knew I wanted something that would offer more stability and no squeak or grating, and these are perfect for that.

I have 5 grandkids plus their friends who love hanging out on my swing set. The swing had ordinary eyebolts that created a lot of friction with the metal chain connectors holding the swings. As they were wearing out it was time for an upgrade. I had to hacksaw off the threaded rod for my application, but that was easy enough. If you do, I'd suggest putting two nuts ate the point you want to cut, and locking them together. Then, after you cut, these nuts will clean the threads as you remove them. I am not impressed with the quality of the included lock nuts, but asI locked them against each other, I see no long term issues. If you are passing these through a 4x4, I would suggest purchasing fender washers to spread the load on top.

Amazing little swing bearings a must for porch swings with rope, took the noise out of swinging, use a Qtip to put a little but of thick axel grease inside the bearings then instal them, for the price you can't go wrong truly noiseless swinging and feels more free no binding if your on the fence about getting them just go for it you'll thank me later....
