Works great for sram drivetrain/emtb. Can’t beat the price. Gears/brushes fall out if not careful but easy to put back in. Does a decent job of degreasing & cleaning chain. Brushes and pick thingy do the rest. I am happy with the purchase and so is my bike

It is a little flimsy and the brushes got frayed pretty quick but still work. Get what you pay for but pretty good for the price.

I took these photos about a week after cleaning and re-lubing.I was perfectly happy with this kit and think it represents great value. Unlike some other reviewers, my chain cleaner went together tightly and is of solid construction. The brushes stay in place but are also easy to remove. It takes a bit to get started; for the chain to work into the correct places on the bristles. But after that, I could go forwards and backwards with the chain cleaner, or just spin my pedals backwards in the traditional way to quickly pass the chain through it. I fully cleaned my super grimy chain twice and the kit is still in perfect working order.The brushes that came with the kit are also sufficient. The chain width brush is thick so you can only clen two of the four "sides" of the chain at once with it. That is totally fine, it's a touchup tool. This tool also has a brush at the opposite end with very long stiff bristles. These are great for cleaning the cassette or freewheel. The black thin "toothbrush" proved surprisingly useful as well. I used it to attack my freewheel gear teeth from the sides to get the last bit of sludge off.I'm very pleased with this kit. And much to my surprise, it's not a use once and then throw it away. It held up and is ready to clean more chains. Next is my wife and my daughter's bikes. I'd do my son's, but he just doesn't care ;-)

Price was good for what you get, and it'll clean the crud and buildup from your chain, but it's not as easy to use as other's I've owned. Build quality is iffy, and some parts are only held in place by friction and hope, but not bad if you're (like I was) on a budget.

Cleaned my chains super well. I mostly got it for the blue device since needed a replacement but the extra brushes been super helpful also

This review is for "Bike Chain Cleaner, Bike Cleaning Kit, Chain Cleaner for Cycling..." I purchased this device to clean the chain on my Trek. I'm familiar with the use of chain cleaners, so there are no mysteries about its operation. This unit did not work well at all. It is difficult to manipulate and particularly challenging to insert the bike chain. When I actually began cleaning the chain, small parts began falling out of the opening where the chain exits during cleaning. I DID manage to clean the chain after reassembling the device a couple of times. I shall return it forthwith.

This is not a very good set. The brushes are ok but the chain cleaner is really terrible. You can barely get the chain to go through it and it leaks profusely. Fortunately it wasn't that expensive.

Works as Intended.its assembly is a bit clunky, feels like it wants to just fall apart, however it stayed together the entire time it was on the chain.Using this with a recumbent e-trike is a bit different. I cannot pedal backwards or chain does not move. I had to go forward with rear wheel off the ground. This was actually easier as I could put the thing on the chain, and let it rest against the chain tube... it stayed in place freeing my other hand up to poor in more cleaner/degreaser/chainlube.
