These are just basic copper-coated steel welding rods. I use them with a plasma welder and they work great. The 3/32 size is my favorite size to weld with, so I know the characteristics of this particular size very well. I love the price that I paid for a 10 pound box on Amazon! 10 pounds of rod is quite a bit, for me, it's a couple month supply. I saved at least 50 percent cost over what I could have gotten here locally!!! Don't get me wrong, I like to buy local, but I am very much on a budget with everything, so I look for the better deal, which is often on Amazon.These rods, made by Blue Demon, are as good as any other 3/32" copper-coated steel rods that I've used. Now that I've found this price, I'll be repeating this same order when I run low. Hopefully they love us and will keep the price down!

I have purchased this product before very pleased with the purchased. MY second purchased there was a problem with the delivery, But I'm very happy to say that is was corrected immediately. I highly recommend this welding rod and this company.

Good product, good price. Be careful boxes are mislabeled. It took three shipments to get the 1/8 inch rods ordered. Boxes labeled 1/8 inch, first shipment rods were 1/16 inch, second shipment 3/32 inch, third shipment finally 1/8 inch. Check your shipment otherwise a good buy.

I wanted to try my hand at oxy-acetylene welding and had a great first experience with these. I welded some furniture for my shop from 1-inch steel square tube. The resulting welds were extremely strong.
