This roman chair didn't have many reviews, so I rolled the dice and took a chance on it, and I was pleasantly surprised about the quality/functionality, so I decided to leave a review. It's a very good, budget friendly roman chair that took maybe 5 minutes in total to put together with the hardware and tools provided. I'm 6'1", 195 lbs, and it works flawlessly. Looking at the pictures, the design seemed like it would be kind of janky/sketchy, but it's not. It's funny, people get super uptight and picky and have ridiculous expectations about stuff all the time, but you have to remember we're not talking about a $1000 piece of commercial gym equipment - this is a $100 home gym roman chair. Yes, there is some wobble/play if you're intentionally trying to make it wobble/play, but when actually using it the device is pretty locked in and sturdy. I feel very confident in its ability to hold my weight; there is very little movement when in use. The 330 lb weight rating is probably accurate, or close to it. The hip padding is thick and comfortable, and as a male I was happy to see a very wide gap that provides more than enough room - no squishing or pinching. The ankle padding is also thick, comfortable, and secure - it does a good job of keeping you locked in place. The length and angle of the roman chair are easy to adjust - quick and simple. When not it use, the footprint is extremely small; it folds up flat as a pancake, and the process is quick and simple.Honestly, the only downside I have, which isn't even that big of a deal, is I wish the ankle bar was adjustable or at least 1 or 2 inches longer just so I could push my feet back a little bit. It still works very well, I can get my legs/feet locked into place no problem, I just wish it was a little longer. No big deal, though. For the tall people: Though it's perfect for me, I wouldn't purchase this roman chair if you're any taller than 6'3". As a 6'1" person, I have the chair maxed out in length, and if I was an inch or 2 taller it wouldn't be long enough. With all that said, I am extremely happy with my purchase. It may seem basic, but that's because it is, which is also not a bad thing at all. It's a very simple, easy to use design, that's also fairly well built for the price. It's definitely worth it, and I would buy it again.

I wanted a Roman chair that I could fold so it didn’t take up space in my gym but would also be sturdy enough to hold me. I’m 5’11, 215lbs while I feel secure in it and it holds my weight it is wobbly. Nothing severe and it doesn’t interfere with the exercise but it’s definitely not sturdy.

I'm 6-3 so I needed to make the leg pad/fastening rod a little longer to fit my feet under it but other than that the bench is very comfortable and stable and works your lower back muscles very comfortably and smoothly.
