Update: I reached out to their customer support and Ranae was amazing and got it sorted out. They shipped the part shortly after. While obnoxious that missing parts is a repeat issue based on the reviews, I eventually did get the part I needed. And for the price point, machine is fantastic! Pads are probably the weak point but I have no real complaints (5’ 10†185 lbs for reference).Big fan of the company, why I chose them over many other cheaper options. Package arrived today but is missing the part, "Base Frame" (part number PFMCS707-03). Happy to update this rating once I have the part and am able to use the product. On the plus side, it seems heavy and sturdy to keep you planted while using machine.

The box arrived a day early. It was easy to move to the basement by myself. Assembly was easy. There is an Allen wrench included yet I did need to use a pair of pliers when tightening the bolts.I opened the box, pulled out all of the pieces and found a piece missing. I went to CAP Barbell’s web site and reported the missing piece. Their customer service folks sent a replacement piece. I was able to complete the assembly of the equipment.It’s a bit fiddly to change the height of the hip pad yet I’m the only one using it so I won’t need to change that again. If it needed to be changed often, it might be a bit irritating.The equipment is sturdy. I wish I could have the ankle pad a little closer but it’s not a deal breaker. I wear a women’s 8.5 shoe (men’s 7) so it’s probably in a good spot for folks with larger feet. The split hip pad is handy for doing oblique abdominal work.It was a good value for me. It’s sturdy. CAP Barbell was great at getting a replacement piece to me that was missing. It shouldn’t have been missing in the first place yet it was rectified easily.

For the price it’s great. Ladies! it is structurally designed for the biomechanics of a shorter person. Meaning it WILL adjust below the hip hinge. You can actually use properly with feet flat and only the legs NOT pelvis will be in contact.I cant speak on durability or its ability to handle heavier bodies. But for me it very stable. Needs two pins to secure and there’s zero movement

Great price and great quality. Only problem is that the company needs to teach their employees how to package item for shipment. Box came beaten up and opened. It was amazing that no parts were lost by falling out of box. Overall a well built piece of equipment for the money-- and this one has split pads for the men's junk to not get crushed.

The bench is made of thick gauge steel and would be very sturdy if not for the fact that several parts were broken from shipment (part #15), or missing including several carriage bolts (part #10) to secure the base. When you call the customer service phone number provided in the Owner's Manual, you just get disconnected.

The box came a little beat up, and the insides had one bent piece, with a broken plastic cover for the feet as well as one of the handle rubbers was split open. BUT all these were super minor. The broken plastic cover was easily glued back. The dent was fixed in 0.3 seconds with a hammer and the split rubber was barely noticeable as it's underneath the handle. If it were to get worse, it would be an easy fix as well. As far as sturdiness and height: I am female, 5"2 and about 120lbs, and I use this with weights. I feel safe. Comfort is fine despite what other reviews. The space between the pads didn't hurt me. Only difficulty is single leg movements. You have to move slightly more to the side or your hip will fall in between the cushions. Cushions are thick and sturdy. It took about 45 minutes to assemble. It is a decent weight and took about 1.5 weeks to arrive despite the pandemic. I love it and it's well worth the money. It is tiny and perfect for home use.

Box was dented a lot and found one dent on the bench itself but I don’t think it’ll change anything. Easy to put together. The foot plate is a little rocky. It would be better if it had another post bedside it instead of just one up the middle.

This item is very sturdy and provides great value for the price. I had purchased another similar (but less sturdy) item before and after a week of using it, one of the welds let go. I went online and found this one, which looked really sturdy. I'm very pleased with it so far. It's a huge improvement to the one I had before that I ended up returning.Quality is comparable to something you would see in a commercial gym but less costly.I put it together with my 9 year old son and it was easy peasy. The instructions were very easy to follow.It's easy to adjust for all members of our family and it's been a wonderful addition to our home gym.The cushions did have a funny smell when we first assembled it, however, after a few weeks of using it, I don't notice the smell anymore.

You have to assemble this but there are no nuts and bolts or any of the required hardware included to put it together so it’s basically useless. I tried to start a return but it says they will only cover $3.99 for shipping and this is a big heavy item so return shipping will be ridiculously expensive. A complete waist of my time and money. Worst ever experience on Amazon.

This is a very well made, good value item. I have low back issues and am trying to strengthen. I like the big full platform, which is why I chose it over other options I saw, and I am glad I did. The comments about the pads being too firm I think is overstated. I have no issues. I would definitely recommend this item.
