My stepson uses this to get his hooks out. It works great and makes him feel a lot safer removing the hook. I also feel safer knowing there’s less of a chance I have to remove a hook from his hand. Great product.

I like how ergonomic the design of this hook remover is, making it easy to pop the hook out the fish's mouth without getting too close or hooking yourself in the process. Clean and smooth hook release, works how it should so you can catch and release with ease.

It works for its intended purpose. Just wish it was sprung the other direction so the hook is recessed and would have to be pushed so I can go hands free if need be.

Well made ….but generally for smaller less toothy fish,Spotted Sea Trout or Redfish is fine.Pelagic Toothy Fast Swimmers it maybe a bit undersized unless lip hooked.Still Highly recommended for its size and purpose.

I read reviews on some fishing sites so I was pretty sure this would work but my husband smiled widely and laughed when I showed him.We went inshore fishing that weekend and I used it on the first fish I caught, a cat! It was so easy to use and we were both impressed with how easy it worked. I usually struggle to get hooks out but I used it on about 20 different fish that day and it worked every time!
