I rubbed a little ebony stain on mine to match the fretboard. They look and function great.

Arrived as advertised. Added a fresh coat of my usual fret board oil (Music Nomad F1 Oil) and they look fantastic. Perfect fit on my P Bass using one of the existing screws in the pick guard and just needing to drill a second. Using only 3M double stick tape on my Epiphone Jack Casady an holding tight so far.

I do like the tone better, playing up near, or over, the neck, and these make it more playing there more comfortableSide note, I used these as a pair on my acoustic electric bass. I used small machine screws and they clamp at the edge of sound hole.

Slapped this bad boy on my Jack Casady bass and I'm loving it! I rubbed some fretboard oil on it and it looks and feels great. Way better than a plastic one imho. It helps me play in the sweet spot on this bass too which is right between the neck and pickup.

On one hand , they are just 2 pieces of wood , however they are finished well and suit their purpose perfectly .

The only thing difficult about putting this on my bass will be positioning it correctly the first time. And since it wasn’t black and my fretboard is maple, I used a black sharpie to make it black. A cheap solution for something going on a cheap bass.
