Over time, the wires in this type of pastry blender might come loose. Even though that might happen, in my opinion, it still does the best job of any pastry blender that I've ever used. It's easy to use and there is a place for your thumb to help hold the handle of the pastry blender.

My old pastry blender lasted 50 years. I make scones, pie crusts and biscuits from scratch - the butter or lard needs this tool for cutting the fat into the dry ingredients. I only like the blender that has tines that go completely to the handle. Some go only half way. The tines on my old tool popped off the handle and it couldn't be fixed.

Works well and much better than plastic models with thicker blades

Well, they say you get what you pay for. It broke the first time I used it. The knob holding the wire to the handle came out of the handle. I thought it was done for, but I stuck it back together and I held my thumb there to keep it in, and I was able to continue using it. I wish some one would make a good quality wire type pastry blender.

This pastry blender is a nice size. It's easy to use and fits my hand great. I've already used it 3 times. I think I bake too much!

I like that it is like the old one I had, and used until it broke, but this new one's handle is hard, the old one had a nice soft rubber handle!
