this tripod is fine for the house or garage, but i wouldn’t trust it for outdoor use... it’s made from aviation-grade aluminum, so it feels solid, but without rubber pads on the feet and with limited leg extension, it’s not as stable as i’d like... the swivel feature is pretty useless for me, but if you need 360° rotation, it’s there... the magnetic locking system holds things in place pretty well...the size is nice for carrying, and the built-in tripod in the grip is handy and it is functional just not great for rocky terrain... overall, it’s decent for casual indoor use and setting up shots in a controlled space, but don’t expect rock-solid stability, especially when fully extended...

The tripod seems kind of weak on the legs to me. The legs are just plastic. The lock on the tripod is good and as long as your holding the bottom tripod legs in as a handle this is a pretty good selfie stick handle setup. The legs have no anti-slip grip or rubber like the selfie stick itself. It did not come with the mount for gopro. I have one and tired it. The selfie stick is really good and solid. So I like the selfie stick and think it's a good 47 inch stick. So a really cool thing is the screws on the bottom of the stick and posts on the tripod and selfie stick are standardized. So it is nice that you can mix and match these two items with other items you already own. I'm rating this a three out of five stars since the tripod won't likely hold up outside in the field use even if it would be suitable for the in house vlog on a desk. Thank you! -Mike

The kit I have is the two-piece kit with both the selfie stick and the bullet-time handle/tripod. The bullet time spinner is smooth and silent. To use the bullet time, you have to screw the selfie stick onto the screw that sits on the side of the tripod/handle. It's a bit less convenient than a design that allows the selfie stick to just pivot on the handle. One thing I do like about the tripod handle is that it's really easy to lock or unlock the spinning mechanism. So, you can use is as a normal short handle or tripod, then easily switch to allow rotation.

This Bullet Time rotating selfie stick and tripod handle have 1/4" mounts. The tripod has a vertical mount at the top and another one (horizontal) on the side. There is a lock for the swivel that is easy to lock/unlock. The handle has a nice grip to it, as well as the handle for the selfie stick. The long selfie stick has a 1/4" female mount in the bottom of the handle, and a male 1/4" at the end. It extends to about 4' in total length. When extended it's fairly secure, but if you have a heavy phone (or camera), it does get a little wobbly. The base of the tripod isn't very big, so I wouldn't feel as secure using it as a tripod with the selfie stick attached and then extended. For a low mount it works great. The other part of this that is super cool is if you put the selfie stick on the horizontal mount and extend it out, you can open the lock so it swivels and get spinning effects to video going around you.I'm knocking off a star for the tripod base as it's fairly small and pretty tipsy if you have any extensions on it and try to just use it as a tripod.

The handle is great, it spins just as smooth as the original. Comes with the same rubber protective covers over the 1/4 x 20 threads. The head locks so you can use it static in place. Small rubber pads on the tripod feet to keep it from sliding. The pole extends and locks solidly in place. Its perfect, I could not be happier!

great travel tripod for alternative mounting and angles. Well built feels very sturdy.recommended for action cameras such as GoPros to task over head shots. Can we used as a selfie stick as well.Definitely recommended
