Note:
Please trim the wick prior to lighting. If the exposed wick becomes too long as the candle burns, blow out the candle and let it cool. Trim the wick again before re-lighting.
Maintenance:
After use, the position where the scissors head touches the candle will occupy the candle oil, just wipe it with a paper towel or a rag.

You'll realize you need this when your candle burns down into the jar and your scissors no longer trim the wick. This works on wood wicks too!!

this is attractive and it cuts the wicks very well, even wooden ones . However only 4 stars because the angle of the handle and the cutters could be sharper, more like 90 degrees because if you have a deep candle container you can not the wooden wick straight across because the container and the cutter get in each others way

I love candles, and receive BBW candles often as gifts. With BBW candles especially as you burn them sometimes the wicks can get long or become a black bulb at the end. My spouse likes to light these and act as if they are little pops he hopes that he can light and run away from before it gets on him. I got tired of ugly candles or cleaning up little pieces of soot from when it did pop. So I discovered these were a thing!It is incredibly satisfying to just snip the top and toss it away and then boom fresh new candle wick each time. I kick myself for not getting one sooner, but such a handy tool.
