I purchased this as a gift for my mother in law for mother's day. She plays a violin and I thought she would appreciate a new bow. She tells me she loves it. It plays quite well though it's still new. I believe it takes some time to break in. It's very lightweight and she says she was able to use it quite easily. The tension screw is very smooth to turn. The hair looks natural. It's very well made. She was very happy with it.

This is a very good bow. I am a begginer and I was this worked well for me. My teacher hates online bows but I tried this since I have to drive 45 minutes where my teacher recommended me to buy. But when I played with this she said you have a very good bow. She did not believe such things are available online. My teacher had a $500 bow but this is way better than that in terms of quality of sound and weight. So this is good enough for me for my practices. Teacher is happy too.

I have been using this bow for about a month. It accepted the rosin well without constant application which I must say pleased me given experiences previously with bows of low quality. It lays on the strings with a good overall balance.
