I will probably cut the T handle off, as it swings around wildly when using power tools to turn it. When I first opened it, the threads were seized and had to be turned with an impact. After that it can be turned by hand. I used it to replace front brakes on a Panamera and will likely not use it again for years. This tool is made from soft metal and won't hold up under heavy use. For what I paid I can't complain though.

This tool is a bad idea for any kind of professional setting. It is made from soft steel that is not designed for any kind of hard, repetitive use. That being said, if you are changing pads on your personal vehicles once in a while, this is not a bad budget option. It comes shipped all the way open, carefully get the two black depression "wings" together, and from there it will operate fairly smoothly. When you first get it it might seem stuck or broken, it is not. Just mess with I until you get it in the closed position. It is a fun and slightly different design, and not a bad one, just kind of cheaply made.

Very useful for changing rear brakes was able to hang calipers out of way while working, so that it didn't pull on brake line.

I will say it will do the job. The metal is just a bit soft but not a big problem. I did an entire car but afterwards, did have to straighten the blades a bit. For the price, and how often I will need it, I'll take it as-is. The tee handle was removed so I could use the 1/2 inch drive. For home use only. A shop wouldn't use it but I don't do brakes everyday either.

I probably missed the dimensions, but was thinking they would be smaller, to use on motorcycle calipers. These are pretty big/thick, so was not able to use on my calipers(calipers didn't need to be taken off bike for brake pad change). I'm sure they would work just fine for automotive calipers, but I would suggest something different/smaller, for motorcycle calipers.
