I just had to leave a review....I love this skirt and will be ordering again in more colors. This is such a versatile skirt! Easy to dress up or down. Vear it very sexy and short in front, or modestly lowered to work, church, etc...The fabric ic very lightweight, shimmery and flowing, which I like because it looks dressier this ay and very flattering on the body. But it is not see through! Maybe in the bright light, I didn't try yet.I am 5'7, and usually wear size 16/18W. I have 40" waist and some belly roll, but this skirt makes me look like size 14 and without any imperfections. Even legs look slimmer surrounded with the ruffles around it when worn short in front. I would say it runs on a larger size, but I like it this way. I ordered size 6xl, based on a size chart, but it's kind of big on me. The waist is very stretchy and I can even pull it down on my 49" hips, and it's very full in the hips area. But I like it this way, more fabric and a reacher look to the skirt. It's arrived in two days, and not very wrinkled. Just a little steam would do.

Fabric is lightweight- I ordered black. It is adjustable in front to your preference. I’ll wear it with tights. It’s adequate for whatever costume you need. I ordered 2 sizes up and probably could have been ok with only 1 size up. Skirts are more forgiving, but it’s a simple fix if you’re handy with a sewing machine. It’s not too flimsy, so for a cheap piece of clothing, it’s not too bad.

I would size up at least one size maybe 2 if you are between sizes. I am usually a 2X but ordered a 4X to be safe because I don't have much time before the event I wanted this piece for. I could have probably gotten away with a 3X as it fits pretty lose. Material is light and slightly transparent so I recommend wearing at least something under it, but the light material is a blessing if you are going to be somewhere warm. The length of the front part of the skirt is easily adjustable which I really like and it really added some flair to my ren-fair outfit! Love this item and may order in another color for other events or costumes.

Lightweight fabric dries fast and is comfortable in Florida heat and humidity. Packs well if you decide to be a pirate and cruise the Caribbean. Ordered a 4x and it is quite large, a 1 or 2x would have been a better fit. The elastic at the waistband back can easily fit a size either way (at least in larger sizes), but not two. Kept it anyway, as I usually wear a corset while in garb. The skirt front is surprisingly neat and smooth so I can actually skip the corset June through September. The adjustable front is good; it does not have to be worn barely covering the crotch. The ease of changing the length in front is good for layering skirts for a more detailed look. The back hits lower calf rather than ankle. TMI, but that makes it easier to keep it clear of less than tidy portalet floors at events.

The skirt fits in the correct size. The fabric is thin.Since it's meant to look like taffeta, that is disappointing. OK for Ren Faire as is. For steam punk it would be improved by an underskirt or bustle.

I was looking for a skirt for a witch costume and a pirate costume, and this fits the bill for both! The material is thin but very well made. I ordered a size down bc I wanted it to fit as a high waist. I would say true to size, a little on the small side. The front adjusters are the best part. I can be more modest for when I dress up with my daughter, or more make the front go shorter for date times. Absolutely love this skirt for the price! Once I found this I knew I wouldn’t be stuck buying some cheap costume pre made from the store.

The skirt is true to color. It is not see-through like the picture suggests. It cinches nicely in the front. But the back looks really flat in comparison. I typically wear a small, I ordered a small but you cannot wear this low on your hips. So I had to wear it higher around my waist. if I would’ve went with a medium so I could wear it on my hips, it would just be too bushy, if that makes sense. I returned because it did not work for the costume I wanted. Quality was nice for the cost. The stitching looked good. I’m not sure how it hold up in a strong washing though. I would definitely wash it on delicate her hand wash and hang to dry.
