This cheese cutter is great, but when you put your cheese in it make sure you close the lid tight to keep it from dryingout. And the blade cuts the cheese like butter.

It does cut cheese, but it's not the time saver I thought it would be. The block of cheese doesn't stay seated on the base very well and you end up having to constantly move it to make it stay anyway, so it'd probably be just easier to take it out of a wrapper and cut it like I used to with a knife.
