Heavy and stays put on the counter when you’re slicing cheeses. It comes with several replacement wires which made me think they wouldn’t last, but I’m still on my first one. This is a nice cheese cutter!

It's a rather heavy item, so it stays in place during use. Cleans up nicely. Cuts through dense cheese with little effort.

Overall it is Okay. I purchase blocks of cheese. The blocks of cheese are difficult to cut using this slicer because the slicer is just a LITTLE too small for the job. If you shop for blocks of cheese at Costco... this may not be the cutter for you.

I reviewed many of this type of slicers before I decided to go with this particular one. I liked the simple mechanism to tighten the wire, which is a must to slice thin. Also it came with five extra wires. Since the handle is not made of marble, I don't have to worry about loose handle or broken handle. It is practical.

Delivery from usps employer delivered package to wrong address (even though it was 'clearly labeled) other than that, the merchandise was as expected, nice weight, it did cut as described, cleans up very easy, and decent size for countertop.

For most cheese you buy from the supermarket it will work just fine. However with bulk buy cheese (Costco) the arm and wire could be a little bit bigger. Would also like to see a back stop to allow a firm grip on hard or bigger cheese. But over all very happy with it. And at least my kids can cut slices instead of chunks.
