I’m a lifelong Poodle owner. And I had a Groomer that once said you can judge good grooming job by the comb you can put through the coat. If you can’t come through the coat, the dog hasn’t been brushed properly. This comb is excellent for breaking out tangles, it has a fine side and a wide tooth side. Each one does different types of combing from feathering the hair to . It’s really good quality steel And I anticipated holding up for years to come. Whether a professional groomer or just a hobby is who likes to groom their dog this is a great grooming tool for your pet. but it’s particularly good on poodles, doodles and golden retrievers. It’s large as a comb about 10 inches. I bought it with the Christiansen brush also an excellent product. If you do buy them buy them together because they’re complete as a set and they’ll do all the grooming you need for your pet. But look at the videos, they’ll really teach you a lot and the right way to use these tools like the right tools to make.

I had originally purchased this comb when I had my Coton de Tulear. It work wonderfully on her coat to remove all the little pin knots without hurting her. She enjoyed her comb out and it relaxed her. Sadly, she passed and I had given the original comb to her groomer. Not thinking we would be getting another puppy. Well, fast forward we have decided to get a new puppy this time a Bolognese. Knowing this a fantastic comb... I once again purchased for our new puppy!

My long hair cat hates all brushes, but tolerates this comb. It does a great job of getting the undercoat out and stops matting. It’s much easier to get close to his skin than other brushes, and it doesn’t seem to irritate him like silicone or slicker brushes have in the past.It’s sturdy and feels well-made. Worth the investment for both of us— to not worry about his coat tangling and matting, or hurting him trying to use uncomfortable brushes.

Great product great material doesn’t seem to tangle or cause any hair pulling in my Shih Tzu a bit expensive but for the quality in the workmanship, it’s worth it

This is a must have! I wish I had known about these combs years ago. We just brought home a little maltipoo. Its been years since Ive had dogs that mat. So I forgot about how important combing them often was. I bought a grooming set that had a metal comb in it and thought..."where has this been all my life?" but then my friend turned me onto this little guy. It wonderful for combing around their faces and eyes. Great for blending the hair so they look fluffy. I suggest both combs, and with these two I dont think I need anything else. This is a heavy little comb with fine and superfine teeth. I can comb her head and face now and it looks like Ive actually combed her. It fuzzes out her little feet and body and she looks even more adorable. My only beef is that its a little pricey but this truly is a one time purchase so bite the bullet and get it. You wont regret it.

I got a mini doodle earlier this year. I brush him every day. After his first grooming, she said i was doing OK with brushing, but I should get a greyhound style comb to comb him after brushing. Since I used to have Labs, which required very little grooming, I was totally clueless about needing to comb him also.So I looked on here and found this greyhound comb (I still don't know what that means... maybe the long slender shape of the comb?) made by an apparently trusted and well known grooming tool guy.It was way more than I wanted to pay for a dog comb, but....only the best for my little guy!!!I love this comb. It is very well made, no sharp edges. Solid. Wont ever break. Well worth the price. I also bought a new slicker brush by the same company and it's way better than the cheaper one that i had gotten from a local pet store.I guess in some cases, you do get what you pay for, and I'm very happy I paid the extra money for this. I feel like this comb will last forever.

Overall would highly recommend this comb as I have been able to use it on three dogs with minimal issues. This lose of teeth seem inline with the amount of use we get out of this item!

I have used all kinds of brushes for my very fluffy cat. A lot of them tear or pull her hair too hard. It leaves her irritated and with dry skin.Thia comb changed everything. I was able to get her undercoat, and she feels fantastic. She also loves it. It doesnt scratch or irritate her.

This comb looks and feels well built! It’s easy to use and my cat enjoys it. However on the second or third day, I noticed the coating cracks at the base of the teeth where it meets the spine. I didn’t drop or scratch it and I’m not too sure if it came in like this. For items at this price point, I can’t accept the quality standard and for that reason I’m returning the order.
