So it broke pretty quickly, but I wasn’t using it for like yoga. I just wanted solid bow staff to practice with at the gym after my workouts that would also collapse or be small enough that I could put in a locker, but unfortunately, I think it’s it’s definitely meant for this yoga purpose instead of being swung around like baton twirler high school marching band, but that was the side I bought it for and didn’t know that the internal screw things would be such a bitch the wood splinter a bit and not sure how to do anything about it thinking maybe just try a resin or something because I did superglue and wood filler and that did not work. However, as I said, I use it for a different purpose than apparently is advertised and if you’re not 220 pound martial artist spinning around at high speeds at all probably be perfectly fine for every other use you might be using it for.

Once all 3 pieces were fully & firmly connected I expected it to become 1 straight stick but it doesn’t align at all, as if these 3 pieces came from completely different branches. I also got a splinter while twisting them on because the edges where the screws are were splitting and was not smooth at all. This was a really neat concept but poorly executed. I needed it to be travel friendly for my next trip. Hence why I ordered the collapsible stick.

This is a very good, solid stick with some heft. My only complaint would be that when you put the three pieces together (they screw together), they are uneven ... meaning one edge sticks out slightly more than the other. That's not good, especially when it comes to splinters. If you're going to keep it fully assembled, you might want to tape around those areas of the rod. But otherwise it's a nice tool for limbering up the back.

For $24, you're only going to get so much quality. So the slight misalignment isn't that much of a problem. It's going to be slightly off. That being said, by biggest issue was due to the fact that it lasted about 3 weeks. From what i can tell is that there was some lateral force on the stick that caused it to break at the joint.I replaced it with a 5 piece steel yoga stick, which seems much better.

Section is wobbly when screwed together. Not made sturdy, doesn’t last for long. Do not recommend.

This could have been a 5-star item, but the join area is very shoddy. When you make a collapsible pole, the join areas need to be at least safe.I instantly got a splinter while handling this. The rough join areas need to have the sharp, fragile edges sanded. With a pool cue, a join like this would be absolutely unforgivable. There aren't many yoga sticks like this I've seen, so I recommend that the manufactures of this look at a few pool cues to see what is standard.I show a picture here of the yoga stick next to a pool cue... dozens of large splinters can be seen on the yoga stick. The other side and other join similarly need sanding and treatment. Oddly, the body of the poles are well done. Not recommended until they make the joins right... a few minutes of sanding on each would do wonders.
