I use it for metal spinning aluminum and copper. Haven’t tried it yet on brass but I imagine it will be just as good. Stays on the piece. No re-applying every couple of seconds. If dry spots develop, jest give it a wipe with a gloved hand, a cloth, or your dolly and you’re good to go. The tube is inconvenient for spinning, so I melted mine into a dish. Warning: contains tallow, which smells like a yummy treat to your dog. My dog had no ill effects, but keep it out of reach just in case.

After years of struggling with metal work, struggling as a result of using a limited lot of tools to make things that may be better left to those whom may be better suited for the task, I bought this CRL Tube wax and I'm so glad that I did. After receiving the wax I have been working with copper and with each difficulty, this wax has saved the day. Drilling 1/8" diameter holes in 1/4" thick copper I snapped 3 dill bits, then after using the wax no broken bits. Cutting long strips of the same 1/4" copper plate using a 7-1/4" circular saw, the wax kept the blade gliding through the material. Try this stuff and you will be glad that you did.

I purchased this to use in conjunction with larger size belts for sanding metal on my sander. I am not really sure that I like this lubricant. It is certainly better than using either nothing or a liquid lubricant and increases the longevity of the belts. It also keeps the heat down and leaves a better surface when you’re finished. The problem I have with it is that it tends to clump up on the belt and there seems to be no way to clean it off once it’s applied. I spoke to one of the manufacturers employees about the issue and they didn’t have any information regarding how to remove it. When using sanding belts for wood there are products that unclog the belt, increasing their longevity you would think that this product would have a similar solution. It’s certainly better than other solutions but I think I’ll try something different next time. With the amount of metal sanding I do however there is a good chance I’ll never go through it all.

Ordered this to use for cutting aluminum extrusion with a non ferrous blade. Works great no burrs after cutting. Also used to tap threaded holes in aluminum stock, this is a must for taping. Clean up is easy and very little mess while using.

Drill or cut? Tired of burning up expensive bits and blades? Get this wax tube stuff NOW! I’m a first time user but just Dip your drill bit in the wax and drill. Turn your bandsaw on and slightly touch the saw blade then start cutting that steel. Keep applying every few seconds or don’t if your RICH like that and can afford blades every other day 🤷â€â™‚ï¸? I’m a slightly above average DIY guy and this tube will probably last me FOREVER!! Love this stuff! My expensive metal cutting bandsaw blades still look brand new!

I had a tube of this lubricant for 20 years. Ran out and been looking for a replacement and found this. It great for wood working, keeps screws lubricant that eliminates wood from cracking! Also use it on saw blades for cutting aluminum. Lasts a long time.
