Gave it a 5 star for ease of installation and the sheer brute strength of this hitch! Factory installed hitch bolted to bumper and over time both of them bent due to my hauling farm equipment and round bales. This hitch should stand the test with no sweat!

Bought this for a 2004 Chevy 2500 with short box, this does not Fit I actually went to Napa and they source the right part that bull tried up same product And ears the factory holes in the frameNow, I asked Amazon to have it returned But I have to pay for the shipping which cost almost as much as the part So thanks to their description. I am out $400.

The build quality is superb, it's definitely a heavy duty product. It was really simple to install.If you're replacing your stock hitch on a Silverado 2500/3500, you'll need 13/16 socket and wrench.

Literally took 20 minutes to remove OEM piece of crap and install this one on my 2006 GMC 3500 Duramax crew cab SRW w/8' bed. Much more rugged than OEM .Bought and installed flat and round plug combo electrical hookup (Hopkins 40975) which plugged right into OEM harness. Piece of cake!!!!Amazon experience and shipping was great as usual.

They slapped a shipping label on the side of it and shipped it no box. Lots of scratches and chips on a brand new hitch. Do not believe their so called advanced powder coating process. Some areas are just flaking off. Peeled model number sticker off powder coat came with right down to bare metal. Bought to replace rusting factory hitch. I now have to figure out how to repaint brand new hitch. very disappointed.

Super quality, easy install with quality fasteners.Only issue is that it is 3" lower than the original hitch, looks like it is set-up for a drop bumper?So had to adjust all my receivers for the new height, my only negative.

I needed the 15312 that's meant for the factory "cutout" bumper....The stock bumper with the depressed area in the middle for the license plate - the "cutout." This hitch, the 15313's for the same truck with a different/bigger bumper. I bought this one, realized it, and now I had to turn around and buy the 15312, and then turn around and return this one. Live and learn! The amazon fitment guide said it would work, but could have been clearer about the bumper issue (thus the four stars). However that being said, its an incredibly sturdy hitch compared to OEM, and very easy to install...and uninstall! Believe me I know! My fault though, I should have researched it more.Edit 11/10/2016: The attached photo is what the 15312 hitch looks like installed, NOT THIS HITCH (15313). The 15312 fits just like the OEM did. This hitch, the 15313, sits approximately three to five inches lower, to accommodate a bigger bumper on a different model truck. The bumper you see in the photo IS the "Factory Cutout Bumper" mentioned in the Amazon fitment guide for the 15312 and on Curt's site.Edit 11/13/2016: The Attached photo was found online and shows the difference in height/drop between the 15313and the 15312.

Bolted right up as it should and looks great. I have read reviews that said this receiver looks like it sits 5" lower than it should but it doesn't, it only sits a little lower than the factory. My own opinion is it looks like more because there was no bracket bolting to the bumper any more but make sure if it's for a gm you get a new plug mount because you lose your factory plug mount.
