This Infiniti / Nissan hitch is stringently tested in accordance with SAE J684 to ensure a weight carrying capacity of 4,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 600 lbs. tongue weight. Not much to not like. Easy assembly. Now we had to cut part of the bumper cover off but it looks like Infiniti put it on. Not like two guys mounted and bolted it on.It’s hauled a 6x10 loaded trailer no issues over 600miles 1,200miles round trip.

Wiring was straightforward but the instructions (especially the pics) could have been better. They're way too small in the printed version. You can go onto the Curt site and get the PDF version, and zoom in -- to see the details. I've done a bunch of these Curt hitches on cars and trucks and never been disappointed. I should have put it on when new, but I waited until my wife's QX60 was 4 years old. By that time, the hardware would not even begin to thread into the frame -- because the threads in the frame are exposed to the elements. Do yourself a favor and spend the $10 on a M12 X 1.25mm tap before you begin the install. This will allow you to clean out the threads and make it happen.

Terrible instructions. The bolts didn’t match the pre-drilled holes in the frame. The rear bolt on each side snapped off and won’t come out of the frame. They spin around but won’t come out or screw in. Vise grips won’t pull them out. I’ll never buy Curt products again. I spent over six hours on this “project†and still have two bolts stuck in the frame and a hitch only connected by four bolts.
