These reeds were recommended to me by my private instructor 30 years ago. I am so glad I found them again. They are the best reeds around for intermediate+ woodwind instrument players. They may cost a little more than Rico, but the quality is far better than any other reeds I have used.

Every clarinetist has a preferred reed brand and style, and these Mitchell Lurie reeds just happen to be mine. I'm an intermediate player who uses my clarinet primarily for klezmer and 20s style swing songs, and these work great for me. I prefer Rico reeds for my bass clarinet.

Have been using these reeds for years! Quality is still good however I took one out of my mouth and it immediately split right in the middle. Could have just been from being in storage though. In all, I will forever and ever use these!

Size 4 Mitchell Lurie reeds are what I've used my entire life for nearly 30 years. I tried switching to other brands, but thus brand seems to be the only one that is consistent from one Reed to the next. My favorite always!

These reeds are good but zI found they need to be well softened and fitted accurately to the mouthpiece. For me the Premium is a better 4 strength reed although these are good value.

Great reeds but they need to be well humidified before playing. At that strenght, you also need to use a lot more your stomach to make sounds
