Does a very nice job of dimming RV awning LED strip lights. Takes a little wiring to add in the circuit after the inside switch but very pleased with how dim they will go.

The unit that needed replacement was no longer available on Amazon, so I picked this one. Works fine, but I gave it four stars because the dial has no markings, unlike my old one. I use it to regulate light output from my Beemsworks aquarium light, so lacking dial markings makes it difficult to maintain specific settings should the dial be unknowingly bumped out of place.

The previous one failed of 4 years ago. The dimmer quit working. I suspected it must be in the switch so I ordered this one. It took me 2 minutes to replace and now works perfectly.

Make sure to not go past the rated power of the unit; we were over by a couple of watts and it actually melted and shorted the DC inverter.

I bought this to go with a trans-light frame that I have, and works great, it looks stellar on high, but looks just as good when it's not quite so bright, and for what I have in the darker room it's typically used in, I don't need it at 100%, 770-80% is more than adequate. Perfect for my needs.
