I used this to wrap the exhaust pipe of my KTM motorcycle to shield the rear shock oil reservoir from excessive heat. For best results, I recommend trimming it to the proper length and soaking it in hot water for about 20 minutes before wrapping it tightly and securing it with the included stainless zip ties. I'm pleased with the outcome and believe this preventive step is a worthwhile investment to protect an expensive shock component.

i used this on my 5th scale rc car exhaust it does the job keeping the heat so that nothing melts near it and for the money its worth it

Heavy duty and great quality! I tried using it to fix my exhaust and that did not work but my friend was able to fix his headers.

Works as intended so far. However do not get this stuff on your skin, extremely itchy and nasty stuff. I was itchy even with wearing gloves, also plan on throwing away any clothes you used to install it out, it gets everywhere even when soaked in water as intended.

Used this product to wrap my headers that are too close to one of my temperature sensor wiring. The stainless steel clamps that come with the product are difficult to tighten. I tried with pliers and screw driver but are still loose. I'll see if it loosens up more and then use standard hose clamps.

I used this to wrap a section of my camaro's exhaust where there was a hole. I wrapped the area and then wrapped some sheet meatal around it with a clamp at each end and you wouldn't know there was a leak, nice and quiet. I took 1 star off for the price.
