One side of these is glass smooth for garden marker's use; the other is slightly roughened so that a pencil can write on them easily. They will bend only very slightly which is perfect for me. Good buy for the price.

I was always looking for sturdy plant markers. These are just superb as they also have holes on one end to be strung along the plant stem for your own immediate recognition. The ties come with the bag and it's such a great bargain for its price!I have the botanical name on one side and the common on the other and have strung the markers on the plant stems. Now they'll stay on for easy ID.Very nice buy - I'm delighted with it.

I have ordered these several times. We have a very large garden so use a lot of markers. I had been searching for a suitable replacement for the markers we had been using as they were both more expensive, and had a huge shipping charge when ordered. These are just equal in quality, you can order in much lower quantities(if you need-how I placed my first order to test them out), and with free shipping it is a great option for me.

They are nice. They seem thick enough to be durable. Perfect size but Useless for outdoor plants. I used permanent marker but it completely faded away!

I usually buy 4" markers, but decided to go with longer ones so that I would have room to write the full name of the bulbs I was planting. I have dug 112 holes for bulbs this fall, and used up the whole pack.I have noticed though, that some of them are now bent or snapped off, probably from wildlife walking in my garden.

These plant markers are very sturdy and don't become brittle in the garden. I have pulled some out of the soil after spending the winter buried under snow and they were undamaged. A sharpie writes well on them and I reuse them every year. No cracking, splitting or crumbling like the thin ones I bought in the past. I think they are a good value.

I use these for propagating African violet leaves. Some of the variety names are long so the 6 inch works better than standard 4 inch. My handwriting is a little large and I can get more information on the label. They are very sturdy. One side is slightly rougher so my Sharpie Permanent marker doesn't blur.
