This was the model I needed for a new shower trim kit I purchased long ago and never got around to installing. I wouldn't say it was easy to install since I had to knock out a tile wall to get to the plumbing, but once I was there, and shut off the water, and cut the existing lines, and had all of my replacement pieces, it installed easily! I used sharkbite fittings with pex tubing. So far so good, no leaks after a month of regular use. Now I just have to rebuild the shower wall!

I have been using delta diverters for the past 12 years to all of my renovations projects, about 10-14 a year, you can’t go wrong. Great selection of trim package, excellent quality. Highly recommended.

I've used this valve in about 6 different showers. Some I've installed myself and others I've handed to a plumber to install. I love these valves. The oldest one I have installed is about 12 years old now and no issues. Highly recommend!

I am finally getting around to finishing the bathroom in my basement renovation, and needed to install a tub/shower body. We have PEX piping, and originally I bought model R10000-MF which is for cold expansion PEX (which I learned is a different type of pipe). This model, R10000-PX is the one you crimp/clamp to without having to 'expand' the pipe first. Once I got the right model delivered (!!!), installation was really really easy. Clamped PEX to the inputs, and used threaded to PEX adapters for the shower line and stubout to the bath. Altogether, I think the installation took about 15 minutes.What I like- Comes with a box level to help you make sure it is level, and manage the 'depth' of installation so it ends up being flush with the shower surface- Has NPT threads so generic pipe adapters fit perfectly- Easy to screw to your mounting plate- Comes with a cover to protect the body from dust until you put in your mixing valve- Mixing valve was so easy to install. Quite literally you take off the cap, slide in the valve and then use the cap to screw in into place.What I dislike- Nothing. Everything about this body was easy to use. Even the packaging was recyclable cardboard and minimal use of plastic.Basically I think there are two choices with your tub fittings; Moen or Delta. After how easy this was to install the Delta fitting I would absolutely use Delta in future. I'm not a tradesperson, but this installation was really easy and made feel like a pro!
