never an issue with these. As long as you dont bend the blades while cutting they last a very long time. used 2 blades in 18 months and the one that broke was my fault. Just let the machine do the work.

A lot of people who think the Dewalt portable bandsaw is just some weak toy not to be taken seriously don't understand that a big part of the secret is in these high quality blades, and using the right blades for the right jobs. Yes the blades pop from time to time and need to get replaced (that's why they come in a three pack), but the prices are pretty good and they get the job done without having to haul out lot of other equipment when you are cutting pipe and tubular steel and rod stock. The precision you can get with this using a handheld tool is amazing when you think about it and the speed with which I can use these in the portable bandsaw to cut sections of steel for a fence or railing repair often draws an audience at the jobsites.

I used a Milwaukee band saw for a few years. Purchases a dewalt because I have dewalt tools. The saw works fine but these blades are horrendous. With Milwaukee brand I hardly remember replacing them. These I need a new blade roughly every few weeks. Become dull quickly and snap if you look at them wrong. However, there's no other options so if you're reading this review it's too late because you already bought the band saw too

These are about the best affordable bandsaw blades I’ve found in this size. Works well on steel, aluminum, brass, plastic, etcThese also fit on the ryobi 18v bandsaw.

All blades are going to dull, especially if cutting harder steels. But I keep reordering these ones, cause they're not bad. Never had one snap. Just dulled from normal use.

The blades never last more than 2 or 3 cuts.I think they may have problems with the hardening process.
