This high performance blade is designed to provide a reliable cutting action and deliver guaranteed welds on wood, plastics and non-ferrous metals. Made from high carbon steel, these 56-1/8" x 1/8" bandsaw blades are heat resistant and offer a premium precision cutting user experience. Every weld is guaranteed for proper tooth spacing, matched set and exact finishing. The bandsaw blade metal teeth feature an optimal geometric design and have been hardened to RC 64-66. POWERTEC band saw blades stay sharp with a long life and consistent performance. Our blades are built to wear evenly and deliver straight cuts at extreme speeds.

The last blade I had ran into a steel pin that I did not foresee when sawing. That is hard on teeth! Otherwise, for light-duty work, these 1/8" blades can do some amazing stuff. All I can say is don't push too hard - let the teeth do their thing and they will last a reasonable time until you start trying to say things that are harder than they are designed for.

These blades are 10 times better than the ones sold at the two big box stores.

The blade was dull and burned the wood right out of the box. Within a short time it broke, which was a good thing. I replaced it with an Olson blade (a little more money but better quality). I would not recommend this blade.

After making only a couple of cuts in 1/2" Maple, one blade snapped at the weld, and the second one I tried using was dull after a couple of cuts.
