This Aurdeayi digital micrometer is well-made and is very accurate in its measurement. It has replaced my old trusty digital micrometer. When compared to locally available comparable micrometers, the Aurdeayi product has more features at a better price point. The LCD display is awesome! I would recommend this micrometer to others. It is built with stainless steel machined to tight tolerances creating a solid and sturdy structure while allowing for a very smooth operation resulting with precise measurements. The quality of fit and finish is shown by the tiny amount of light getting between the calipers as it is uniform and even.Whether it’s the type of LCD or the difference from the 2032 battery that makes the display easy to read; the displayed measurements are much clearer from almost every viewing angle. (I don’t have to use reading glasses.) I like the use of the 3 volt / CR2032 lithium battery format over the 1.5 volt / LR44 alkaline battery. This is a major improvement with reliability and longevity for battery life. Aurdeayi was smart to use two small phillips head screws to secure the CR2032 battery lid; they include the screwdriver and two additional sealed 2032 cells for future battery changes. The micrometer has a battery saver feature that shuts it off after roughly five minutes. Before relying on this digital micrometer; I tested it on several items with known values. The Aurdeayi micrometer was super accurate within the ±0.001†tolerance for all test measurements. The test measurements included brake rotors, engine valves, piston rings, pistons, steel shims, steel rod materials, drill bits, drilled hole diameters and a couple of different engine gaskets. Being able to measure and read in either decimal and or fractional inches is HUGE!This review is written from a general-purpose craftsman perspective. We live in a rural area and frequently have to adapt, repair or fabricate equipment parts in our shop. I am very pleased with the quality and performance of Aurdeayi’s digital micrometer and have retired my old digital caliper.

I do not often need a micrometer. But when I do, I always curse the fact that I do not have one! They have mostly been out of my affordability price range - based on the amount of times that I would use it.So, when I came across this affordable little number, I jumped on the chance to try this out and ordered one.It took a few days to arrive, but I was not in a hurry. It arrived in a nice little plastic hard case to protect it from damage too - a much appreciated touch.Other appreciated inclusions are the amount of spare batteriies that they include too. 2 x CR2032. These should easily last you a year. In my case, most likely even longer.I really like the fact that they made this display large enough so that my bad eyes could see the measurements. Even though I truly hate electronic tools, I really struggled with a traditional manual micrometer. So, my decision to order this, was based more on need, than choice.Coming from Europe, I work easily in both Metric and Imperial. This tool has BOTH!And despite its low price, aside from the actual digital display, this whole tool appears to be made from stainless steel, which is truly awesome! My only concern with ANY tool designed for measurement, is just how long it will hold its accurate calibration. But so far, and for its price, this tool more than meets all my needs and expectations.

I keep several micrometers around because I use them frequently in different places & I misplace or break them occasionally. I the past I bought the harbor freight micrometers that used to cost a little under $20. Now they're a little over $20.This is noticeably better. Lets start with the weight. Some of the HF mics are almost weightless, but seem to function. This one has some weight to it. Its not heavy, its nothing you'd ever find annoying. But its not a weightless product of endless cost cutting. The adjustment is smooth with a nice amount of resistence. It stays put when you quit moving it, and fine addjustment is attainable because there's no grabbing or stickiness to it. Its just a smooth steady resistence like its supposed to be.The case is nice. Actually for a sub-$20 tool, the case is great. And it has a couple spare batteries in it. The batteries in my case happened to be different brands/packaging. That doesn't matter, just something to chuckle about. The surprising thing is: this is about 20% under the current harbor freight price for their inferior micrometer. I'd recommend this at 20% over HF. For the $18 current price, this is outstanding.

I've needed one of these for years and after borrowing one over and over from a family member I stumbled on this digital caliper and decided it was high time I have my own. I make my own bead jewelry and on occasion I also set faceted into earrings. Calipers are a must-have tool for that type of work and this one looked like a good option as it can do both millimeters and inches – fractions too, but that's not one I really use – and as an American beader I need both of those. The caliper comes in a hardsided plastic storage box along with CR2032 batteries, a small screwdriver to help install them, and a simple instruction sheet. The caliper is very easy to use with a simple on/off button, a button to zero out, and a third button for changing measurements. The digital screen is easy to read with nice large numbers. The overall tool is made out of metal and feels quite sturdy. The measurements seem to be pretty accurate and I am so glad I finally ordered a caliper of my own. The caliper is budget-friendly but so far it has proven to be good quality and it is a welcome addition to my beading tools....
