Its amazing how poorly designed so many of these are, even if they look the same. The nail opening isn't big enough, and/or the handle itself is often so flimsy that it bends as you apply pressure. Not this one! It is sturdy and well made and it slices my Pointer's thick nails smoothly and painlessly. This is the one to get.

For the price, these are sturdy little clippers. Perfect for small paws. Large clippers are sometimes hard to get around little dog toes. This fits the bill and it is sharp. Very easy cutting.

My dog doesn't love getting his nails trimmed but these were easy to use and worked well so I could get the job done quickly. They seemed to me to work better and more easily than the typical shape of nail trimmers you more often see.

Didn't really like this product very much and I don't think my dog likes it either. He was more scared of it. It didn't give a clean cut either it was a bit uneven and fractured. I think the quicker you press down, the better the cut is, but I don't prefer this product and returned it. I did like the concept of this nail cutter, but I will stick with the scissor type.I wish this product was a bit sharper. Perhaps that would have helped it give a cleaner cut. Or maybe this is better for dogs with bigger nails? It's lightweight, small and easy to use.

Had to trim our Golden Retriever puppy’s nails and they were easy to use. Would definitely recommend them.
