we have clay with rocks in the backyard. not fenced in and landscape makes it hard to do so. had to walk our dog on a leash, even in our own backyard. this anchor had no issues going in, with some muscle and difficulty, due to soil. holds really well. 40yrd line allows our dog some room to run. perfect for the backyard of a regular home on a .25 acre lot. and best of all, the line is weighty, meaning it sticks to the ground and our dog doesn't get tangled up, but not so heavy that makes it difficult. and the line doesn't tie itself into knots either. money well spent.

I was very impressed with this product. I purchased it for a camping trip at a lake and we were able to set it by the river and hook on our 2, 60lb pit mix dogs. They were able to enjoy the land and water with out getting tangled up and we were able to enjoy floating in the river knowing they were safe. I definitely recommend this product and will buy another one.

Best anchor for our 88lbs GSP. All other anchors have been yanked out or snapped. The tool supplied to screw into the ground is helpful. The swivel for the ring is perfect.

I replaced my older cork screw type tie downs with this design instead. The old corkscrew type had a triangular handle that was open at the bottom and allowed my cable tie downs to get caught up inside and get crimped when my dog would walk around. It ruined my cables. This design won't allow that to happen. Was easier to install also.

I have two huskies and a German shepherd/Rottweiler mix. Not much holds these dogs down, and several of these I've ordered in the past my shep literally ripped out of the ground. This has stayed put so far and hasn't budged at all. Satisfied with this purchase. Thank you

Very strong and sturdy. Goes into the ground easy with the additional metal rod that helps twist the pole. Works perfectly for our 80lb golden.
