STEP 1

Drill two holes in the appropriate position on the floor, install the base, and tighten the screws.

Drill two holes in the appropriate position on the door corresponding to the base, install the upper part, and tighten the screws.

STEP 3

Insert the pins from the top downwards.

STEP 4

Complete the installation and lock the door.

  • Both apply, but keep 1/2 inch under the door when opening inward to avoid opening the door.

  • Steel doors, wooden doors, French doors are all suitable, except for glass doors.

The bottom latch of my front door broke and I was told that I would need to purchase a new door, but I got this security latch and it works great, it's very sturdy, the only reason I gave 4 stars was because the screws that go into the door to secure the latch weren't long enough, I had to find an alternative in order to make this work, but I do recommend it.

when I opened the package it appeared very well made but it really wasn't. I had to modify the piece on the door because the piece that slides in couldn't slide in. also the hardware provided was useless.

With this administration letting in illegals and having open borders I wanted more security for my doors. This is a simple device and easy to install. Makes me feel a little more secure.

This item was return due it not fitting my door now the item is sitting in limbo that I dropped off a scamming Amazon drop off box and I still haven’t received my money this company and Amazon are frauds
