The unit appears to be well made and should last. Not a Dorman fan but the price was good and it’s not an electric part , enough said..

I installed a new timing chain and broke the old harmonic balancer as I removed it. This one was a great replacement EXCEPT I had to grind down my Crankshaft Crank Pulley Removal Tool to fit this product. Whoever has to take it off later may have a bit of a surprise.

Like another reviewer mentioned, you will have to file/grind down a harmonic balancer holder tool in order to get it to fit. It seems like the coatimg prevents you from getting it to fit regularly. The instructions that come with the balancer say to use the Dorman puller to install - BUT this balancer does not have holes to secure the sides of the puller. Wtf, guys. Why not just drill and thread some holes in this? It seems like it would make it a lot easier
