I tried this on an LS balancer and as everyone wrote, this thing sucks with a capital S. I’d like to hire the person who made this or marketed this just so I could fire them.With just a little pulling force on the bolt the jaws separate and the puller falls off the balancer. There’s no way to keep it in place. I tried multiple times with different ways and each time it gave me the middle finger as it fell to the floor.I’d recommended buying this only if you hate someone. The quality appears to be okay, but like a first date, full of lies. It functioned like I had two left arms, that were broken. I’d take stars away from other reviews just to score this lower than zero.If this review sounds like I’m frustrated, you’re accurate. I wasted 4 days waiting for this useless scrap of metal.

Worked for my Ford F150 5.4 3valve. Pulled the harmonic balancer off quickly. The tool didn't bend and the threads didn't strip. Maybe I got lucky.

'15 Corvette dry sump. Took it off without a hitch. Used a hand ratchet and no impact. Didn't know if it was rated and it was off in a minute anyway. Worked like a charm

HORRIBLE quality! Today I needed my pulley off to access my timing cover & componets. Not happening with this tool. The tool ears started to bend as soon as I applied pressure. It moved the pulley 1/4†before the ears opened enough to slip out. I have fought this for 20 minutes and no matter how many times I try to get the tool to go back on the pulley it slips off. Absolutely a waste of time and money.

This was a trouble free tool. I hate the multi part tools. Fitting bolts & 3 wobbly claws is tedious at best.So this solid tool pulled the old balancer off without all the blind feeling around necessary with a linked tool.Wish the threads were cut a bit smoother but they didn’t matter in the end.One other note.It didn’t fit the lugs perfectly grabbing onto angled area of the spokes & not the flat area.

Bought to pull a 5.7 hemi balancer. Puller does not fit. Looks like could be modified to work though with some grinding.
