Exactly is a factory piece replacements. Easy to install and works great, solved all the problems that I had reference to the air conditioner not working correctly and fan relay problem.

This item seemed well built, easy to install, and even came with a new harness and self tapping screw to replace the factory mounting bolt; overall, impressive. Sadly, it only lasted about 6 months, and when it failed, it destroyed my battery, as the relay failed in the on state - meaning my cooling fans were on all night (no wonder my wife asked why the engine was still running when we got home - lesson learned...I shouldn’t have ignored her seemingly glib comment 😝). Anyway, I expected more...Maybe I just got a bad one...who knows.

Had a p0480 code come up. Checked the fuse, motor fan relay at the fuse box, and finally determined it was the radiator fan relay. It is located in front of the radiator. For Dodge Caravan/Grand or Chrysler Town & Country, you need to take off the front cover (5 screws + 2 bolts + 2 snap in plugs). The hardest part of this replacement is getting the rivet out. I tried drilling it out using 1/4 bit. Got the top half off, removed the old unit, but had a heck of a time removing the remaining rivet. After some trial and error, I started with a small bit and worked my way up to 1/4 bit. Once the rivet was out, the included screw fit nicely and the replacement took only 15 minutes (not including my fight with the old rivet). Started up my van after replacement and the check engine light was gone. Search Youtube if you'd like a detailed explanation of how to replace this part. Make sure your drill bits are sharp. I've heard some reviews that the relay only lasts a few months. I will do another review if this happens. Compared to Mopar, this Dorman unit is a fraction of the costs. BTW, I only used the actual relay....did not try to replace the wiring that was included.

Upgraded fan relay for my Jeep. This is the upgrade replacement for the Jeep Liberty cooling fan relay, the OEM one lacked the heat sink and would overheat and fail giving a trouble code. This is the upgraded replacement, if you are replacing the original one on your jeep you will need some wire loom chafing protection for 2 hoses that go to the radiator, because the heat sink could rub on them. the newer jeeps and the ones that have had this replaced before already have that installed.

The price of this Fan relay was Quite great considering that most automotive part stores wanted $68.00 for this relay with out additional wiring. I laid a reasonable low price $40.00 for this part and it was a breeze to install. Even if you make a hatchery of the wire connection to the relay, you’ll be able to solder a new conector that came With the relay.Ps the relay in the front behind the front bumper Cover facia.

Did exactly what is needed for the ecm to communicate to a single 12v fan on my L86 swap.

I've used 2 of these. Factory relay lasted 18 years and over 100k miles. Both if these failed after a year. They fail on the durability.

Comes with longer harness so relay can be relocated to front of radiator for better cooling of heat sink.

Worked well for about a month, now I have to disconnect fan fuse every time vehicle is not running because cooling fan stays on, consequently, draining battery. Noticed same issue from other reviews.Luckily I heard fan running after turning car off, and addressed it quickly otherwise would have been stuck with a dead battery in time of need.Looking into buying a relay from reliable source. I've purchase many auto parts online, including Amazon, and for the most part have had no issues. For this particular relay, I advise to purchase from dealer and get OEM product.

Exactly as stated simple install, took longer to disassemble the grill area to access than to install.
