These allow a drill press to ue 1 mm or even smaller drill bits. Use is super easy and the jaws of this min-chuck grip tiny drill bits quite firmly, I only used for 1 mm bits which the drill press could hold but would sometimes slip out after going deep in wood, it couldn't pull the bit out.This mini chuck solved the grip issue and can pull and is a must have if using tiny drill bits!

This really helps with very small drill bits but it seemed to be off just a minute amount from being perfectly centered. Still worked well for my purpose.

Nice little chuck. Runs very true if you hold it in a drill press. Don't expect it to run true if you use it in a 1/4†hex drive tool. The tolerance of both the drill and the chuck aren't good enough for the drill bit to have no runout.

Firstly, this is an excellent quality item, I wanted to give it 5 stars, but maybe it was my mistake it reading the dimensions.When they said mini, and described drill bit size, I was excited. Somewhere in my head I was thinking mini meant not a professional chuck for professionals but for DIY guys. But then I got the bit, and it was the size of my pinky. I was like wait, this won't hold most of my drill bits.I was right, pulled out my set, and only 3 of my smallest drill bits fit. That wouldn't work for me, since I needed something to hold my bit to make small holes for wall anchors.Love the maker, love the idea of the product, just need it in a bigger size, big enough to hold a 1/4 drill bit.

Bought this chuck to fit a 1.97 mm drill bit. I could not get the chuck to tighten enough to hold the bit. I drilled about 1/4 inch into the wood...the chuck lostened and my bit was stuck in the wood. Tried tightening the chuck with a pliers and when i did, it broke....sooooo not quite what I had hoped for.

This is great to have for drilling small holes. My cordless drills will hold down to a 1/16" drill. Anything smaller and then I have to try and wrap tape or paper around the shank to get the smaller drills to hold. This one is well made. The chuck spins concentrically and holds the drills tight.If you do model making or crafts/projects with small holes, this is a must have. Works in my drill press too. I liked it so much I bought one for my kids.
