How to change the blades
This heavy duty clipper has a small front blade and a large back blade. Before removing the blade, rotate counterclockwise and loosen the screw slightly to loosen the back of the large blade.
Place the new front blade in the guide points of the driving carrier and lightly oil. Then slide the new back blade into place, making sure that the big blade protrudes 1.5mm - 2.00mm beyond the tip of the front blade, then tighten up the back screws. Tighten up the tension screw until the first resistance, then give a small quarter turn more. Before clipping, ensure the back screws are still firmly tightened.

TIPS OF CLEANING
After clipping, remove all oil from the machine by rubbing it down with a dry cloth and carefully
clean the clipper head and clipper blades with a dry brush. Oil the blades to prevent rusting.
Even the smallest rust spots on the blades can affect clipping.

It cuts the hair on a St Bernard, not as noisy as others had reported, works great easy to use. Never got hot, the only problem I had is with the metal spacer that clipped on the clippers, it would get caught up on the thick hair, there were no instructions on its use.I like and would recommend this products.

I just received this clipper. I got it to shave a very matted Pyrenees. I started it to see how loud it is and this is one of the loudest clippers I've ever heard. I have been clipping dogs and horses for over 30 years. I am afraid it is going to scare our dog half to death.I also thought it is heavy.May return it and find something quieter or may try it once.

I am so pleased with this clippers. High quality and horse worthy is exactly what I was looking for. I have Slovensky Cuvacs and live in TEXAS and it is HOT. These beauties look like great pyranes but they are a bit smaller and have very heavy coats and undercoats of long heavy white hair. These clippers are a bit heavy but not as heavy as the other reviews had me expecting. They are very easy to handle and maneuver. The noise level was fine and didn't upset the dogs or make them nervous at all. I am unable to afford a professional groomer for these pooches and this investment is a God Send.

I bought this product in May of last year. I trimmed one horse with it in the summer. I thought it worked great for the price. A bit loud, but not too loud. I reopened it today, oiled it up and trimmed one side of my horse. Then it stopped cutting so well. I took and hour break thinking maybe it was too hot. Came back, cleaned it and began a again. Still not really cutting as well as before. I replaced the blades and started it again. It cut better, but after about 2 minutes the motor cut off. No idea what the problem is, if or when it will restart. I have owned this for less than a year and trimmed 1 and half horses. I tried to find a way to contact the manufacturer but it must be an Amazon brand (Made in China) as that is the only place they appear. I see they now offer a warranty, but when I bought it they did not. I was expecting a little more use out of this. I have contacted the seller via Amazon and hope they will make this right. Meanwhile, my horse looks crazy half shaved.

I liked the battery design and how it goes into the handle. Other than that, I thought the noise level was louder than what the statements in the description said. I’m a woman so my grip was not big enough to go around the clipper and was a little heavier than I would like.

I had one pony that I needed to body clip. And do a trace clip on a donkey. I have been in the horse world professionally for over 50 years. Always used Oster at the show barn and at home. I have a Clipmaster and every year even if it got put away perfectly it would need new blades and a tune up. The guy that fixes them around here is an hour away. Sooo looked on Amazon and read reviews and thought for 100 dollars I’m going to take a chance. This clipper did a great job. Yes it blows a lot of hair around but I think every clippers does. Used a lot off cool Lube and oil but that is true of every clipper. It would have cost me more than that to take them in get repaired and just the time there and back. It comes in a nice hard sided case with oil a brush and two extra blades. One is for shearingSo I am thrilled with this clipper and hope it stays the same until next time.
