Self-Grounding and Break-off Plaster Ears
A self-grounding clip for automatic connection in a properly grounded metal wall box.
Break-off plaster ear for best flush alignment. Removable when installing in old work junction boxes.
Convenient grounding screw for wiring directly to the switch.
Side wiring terminal screws accept wire up to #12AWG copper or copper-clad wire.
Quick wiring push-in terminals accept #14AWG solid copper wire only.

I have been using these three ways throughout my 1937 farmhouse you walk through multiple rooms to get to the next and I wanted to be able to turn on lights as you go. I have also used them for single pole switches as well and they work great. Before I install them I showed them to my electrician to get his opinion and he thought they were well made as well. Much more affordable than anything I could find in a big box store.

The switches seem to work fine. But they make a loud click when switching them on/off.
